Well I went live today over on twitch a little later then I wanted. But I hadn’t been on Twitch for at least a month. Which I explain in my video why I was gone so long.
I hope you enjoy!
Looks like my cards where featured by the creators of Dead by Daylight YouTube page! WHAT is this this really happening? Yeah… those are my cards! Here the last three minutes of the show:
I had hoped that they would have showed the inside. Oh well I am super happy they liked it.
Sadly no. Man I really need to get this blog hopping like I once did back in the day. Well to rectify this grievance I will by posting my new SVG – Honey and Tea Box & Pocket Card. Which you can pick up here from my Esty site.
I recently made my Clover Whisper SVG in to a birthday card. OH how I love how she turn out! and I can see this going for more then just Halloween. Just think of it, Baby gift boxes or card, birthdays, St. Pattie day, the list goes on and on.
Check out I converted this Halloween image into a birthday card:

It has been quite a beginning. So much has changed in just two months that a lot of people including myself have hit the ground running. But one thing is constant and that is my love for crafting.
I recently been occupying my time over at Koala T Crafts, setting up challenges on a weekly bases. It has been quite an eye opening experience to say the least, considering I don’t like standing out very much. It has defiantly gotten me out of my comfort zone, but that what a new year is. A new start in doing thing I normally wouldn’t do.
Right now I am creating birthday cards for other crafter over at Koala T Craft. Since I recently received one I thought I would return in kind. Below is just one of many I am making. However after really looking at it…. it kind of looks like a valentine card. Maybe if I tone down the pink and hearts it may pass for a birthday cupcake?
Happy Saturday Everyone,
As much as I try I can’t seem to get a post in before Friday. It is now 1:52am Saturday morning and I am still trying to hash out what am I going to post today. What I wanted to talk about is SCRAPS; I mean every crafter has a bundle of leftovers that we just don’t toss. But specifically I wanted to talk about paper scraps. I looked at my bags/box of paper scraps and I said to myself “I got to put this stuff to good use other wise its just collecting dust”. So I ruffled through it and picked some parts that might color coordinate.
what I did next is get two stamps I didn’t want to spend hours making 10 different designs from 16 different stamps. Because we all do it we pull out all our stamps and by the end of it you have more stamps than scraps.
So I kept it to the following materials to make two projects:
The first project I made was a small “Thank You Card”. I mean when do you not need a thank you card? Anyway, I used my white scrap paper and started stamping yellow and scarlet pattern of the hot air balloon stamp. Since the hot air balloon is not clear cling stamp I had a bit of trouble keeping it straight. But it really didn’t matter since I was going to trim what I didn’t want. But a good tip is using a ruler or a thing-a-magi which I didn’t have on hand. I just kind of wing it.
Once I was satisfied I chose a pattern that didn’t have the as many mistakes and cut it into a 3 x 3 card stock. Then I found a larger enough scrap and eye balled it, it roughly came out to be 3 ½ x 3 ½ card stock. I grabbed my color box inks and hit the edges with a bit of the scarlet on the edges to make the edges pop a little bit. The next step was a little harder since I didn’t have a lot of white I grabbed a coordinating yellow that matched the flower pattern and the yellow stamping. Overall I was able to muster up an 8 x 4 ½ card to place the pattern paper and the stamped image.
Now originally I was going to leave the front blank but after I did a test strip of the greeting over the hot air balloon I really liked the outcome. I inked the greeting with my Hero Arts – Black and went to town. I then grabbed my black pen and did some foe stitching and stood back, thinking I was done I set it aside when I noticed out of the corner of my eye the glitter. How could I say no to the glitter! I started dabbing like a mad woman on each of the flower then I put a dab on the actual stamp. I just wanted to highlight some of the key points.
I double checked my scraps to see if I could do more cards but sadly I only had enough to make a tag. Which was kind of a bummer but I was determined to still make something else similar with what I had. What I came up with was a 5 x 3 tag that would still make a great thank you card.
Well it’s another late night Friday Highlight. But what with my three year old son and five month old daughter being so fussy I can’t seem to get an early start. But as a mom I have to roll with the punches.
Well on to today’s Freebie:
Be sure to save and print this out if you don’t have a cutting machine.
For the egg shape I got it from Birds Card this is a free SVG card but if you don’t have a cut machine you can just save and print. Nothing more fun the paper piecing – http://www.birdscards.com/easter-eggs/
Now for the construction of the cards, all the materials are optional you do not have to run out and buy any of these items. If anything I got a lot of my stuff when they were on sale. If I were you I would just use what you have at home you never know what you can come up with just by trying something unexpected.
